Meditation Classes
Meditation practice relieves built up stress and tension and improves mental and physical wellbeing. It helps us to become more aware of our mental state and to deal with the problems of daily life more effectively. Through meditation, our body and mind enjoy a fuller, more wholesome state of wellbeing.
The Fountain Centre holds weekly meditation classes on a Tuesday evening, lead by Debbie Rayfield.
Debbie was co-director of a meditation centre in the North Indian town of Bodhgaya, the place where Buddha was said to have gained enlightenment, for 4 years. She has completed numerous meditation retreats in the Buddhist tradition including a three month solo retreat at Lawudo Gompa, near Mount Everest in the Himalayas.
