Cancer and Palliative Care Services
Helping people who are affected by diagnosis and treatment of cancer and life changing illness.
The Fountain Centre offers information, support and advice for people affected by cancer and life changing illness. Finding the right information and support can make it easier for you and your family to cope. We can help at any point during your treatment or illness, from the time of diagnosis.
Our speciality is in the field of complementary therapies. The broad aim of these therapies is to add quality to your life.
We can offer practical information about our services, a better understanding on treatments or advice on coping with the symptoms of illness whether emotional or physical.
Promoting positive living with cancer and life changing illness, through effective, appropriate and timely holistic intervention from the point of diagnosis.
We also offer a range of complementary therapies to help people through their cancer treatments and the effects of life changing illness such as Motor neurone disease, Multiple sclerosis etc. These treatments do not take place of those prescribed by your doctor but go hand in hand with them to promote deep relaxation and general well-being.
The Fountain Centre is a relaxed and comfortable setting in which to come and discuss your situation or we will visit you at home or in hospital. All therapies are carried out either at the Fountain Centre or in your home or in the hospital setting (as appropriate), under the care of experienced, skilled and registered professional therapists.
Our aim is to allow you to relax, feel safe and enjoy your chosen therapy.
We also offer a charitable palliative care and home hospice service. This charity had been established to enable people to receive care and complementary therapies in the home setting at the end of their life.
